I have been playing Valorant since December 2020, a few months after it launched, and I have never played more than about ten hours a month. This site is not written by someone who makes a living from competitive play. It is written by someone who plays it, quite simply, with the same curiosity as on day one.
A casual Valorant player since December 2020, coming from MOBAs (Heroes of the Storm, League of Legends), I share here what actually helps me play and improve, without claiming to be a pro. A geek at heart, with a digital-focused professional background, I put those skills to use mainly for this site: writing it better, building it better, growing it better.
Before Valorant, my playground was MOBAs: Heroes of the Storm, League of Legends. A completely different logic: macro, lanes, team drafts spread across one long match.
I discovered Valorant out of curiosity, and it completely blew me away. A different game world, a different feel: the precision of the gunplay, the tension of a round where you only get one life, reading the game tactically in real time rather than following a power curve over 40 minutes. Nothing like what I knew, and that is exactly what hooked me.
I did not wait long before launching a site to share this passion, first under another name. Then, in 2022, I renamed it ilovevalorant.com, so that the name would say directly what it is: a site made out of passion, not out of calculation.
Five years later, the site needed a real clean-up. Being comfortable with AI, I was able to automate part of the technical and repetitive work, which let me refocus on what I really enjoy: the content. Writing, testing the tools, understanding what actually helps a player, rather than spending my time on maintenance.
That is also why the site is opening up to English: the same wish to share, but with a wider community.
I do not claim to know everything about Valorant, I am not a pro player and I never will be. But I think that is also a strength: this site is designed for the normal player, the one who has a job, a life, and who does not have 6 hours a day to devote to the game. The tools, the guides, the explanations here are written to be useful to that player, because that player is me.
If you have a question, a suggestion, or if you spot a mistake somewhere on the site, do not hesitate to contact me. This site lives thanks to its readers as much as thanks to me.
