Valorant is a five-versus-five tactical shooter where aim matters as much as agent abilities. Raw talent rarely wins on its own: you win by knowing the angles of a map, by knowing which agent to put on which site, by hearing a footstep before you see its owner, and by playing on gear that never betrays what you are trying to do.
I Love Valorant brings all of that together in one place. All 0 agents and their four roles, the maps and their callouts, the weapons with their real damage values, the settings that actually change something, the gear worth its price, and the story Riot scatters in fragments behind every match.
Aim can be trained, but not at random. Good crosshair placement pays off faster than any precision drill, and a mouse sensitivity tuned to you beats copying a pro player's settings as they are. Our guides explain the method, not just the values, and cover choosing your first agents as well as how to practice in custom games.
Valorant is a deliberately lightweight game, which completely changes what is worth buying. A mouse that fits your hand and a 144 Hz monitor bring far more than an oversized graphics card. Our buying guides also tell you what is useless, from the software that claims to lower your ping to the chair that will not last a year.
Valorant's lore is never handed over in one piece. It moves forward through cinematics, in-game voice lines and details placed on the maps. We collect those fragments: the First Light event, Radianite and the corporation exploiting it, the Radiants, and the conflict between the two Earths taking shape from one video to the next.
Some settings are easier to understand by playing with them than by reading about them. We provide tools that run directly in your browser, with no account and nothing to download.
Yes, entirely. The game downloads and plays without paying anything, and no agent or weapon can be bought with real money. Only cosmetics are paid, and they give no in-game advantage. Agents are unlocked by playing.
Very little. Riot built the game to run on a wide range of machines: a modest setup is enough for 30 frames per second, and years-old mid-range hardware can already target 144. Our system requirements page details the three tiers.
The roster counts 0 agents across four roles, duelists, initiators, controllers and sentinels, and Riot adds one roughly every two months. On the map side, 13 maps exist, only part of which are in the current competitive rotation.
One with a readable kit, whose effect is understood at a glance. Sage, Phoenix, Brimstone and Gekko each cover a different role and forgive mistakes. Mastering two or three beats skimming through ten.
A fan site, not an official one. I Love Valorant is an independent site with no ties to Riot Games. Our guides rely on the game's official documentation, on the data Riot publishes and on actual play. When something is interpretation rather than established fact, we say so explicitly.
Some pages in the gear section contain affiliate links. If you buy through one of them, we earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It changes neither our selections nor our advice: every guide explains the criteria so you can decide for yourself, including buying elsewhere.
