ilovevalorant.com has a new look

Why now

ilovevalorant.com has been around since 2021. Five years on a game that evolves fast, new agents, new maps, a new meta every act, inevitably leaves traces: content that had aged, pages that no longer matched what the game has become today, a structure that no longer made much sense.

Rather than patching things up piece by piece, I took the time this year to rebuild everything from scratch.

What's changed

• A new visual identity. The site has a new look, designed to be clearer and more pleasant to browse.

• Outdated content has been removed. Pages describing a Valorant that no longer exists have been taken down, not left hanging around half wrong.

• Old pages have been redirected to their up-to-date equivalent, so nothing gets lost along the way, neither for you nor for search engines.

• Every agent has been added and updated, with complete profiles reflecting the current meta.

• 80% of the maps are already live, the remaining ones will follow before September.

• A new gear catalog section has launched: all the gaming equipment (mice, keyboards, monitors, headsets, chairs...) filterable by category and by budget, so you can find the right gear without spending hours on it.

• Articles and guides have been expanded, with more depth and detail than before.

• The site is going English. The English version is already 75% deployed, the rest will follow within two weeks. A first for ilovevalorant.com, which until now only served the French-speaking community. And that's just the start: German and Arabic will follow in the coming months, two languages I also speak.

Three new tools

What was missing the most, in my view, wasn't just content, but concrete tools. Three are available today, built from scratch for this redesign:

• Crosshair Generator: build your crosshair and copy its code, pro codes included.

• eDPI Calculator: DPI × sensitivity, to know your true sensitivity at a glance.

• Sensitivity Converter: keep the same mouse feel when switching from one FPS to another.

More are coming. This is something I plan to keep building on over time, not a one-off.

What hasn't changed

The spirit of the site stays the same: honest content, written by someone who actually plays, not a generic article mill. The redesign changed the shape, not the substance.
