Miks is a Croatian Radiant who joined as the thirtieth agent of the VALORANT Protocol, and the seventh controller on the roster. His power rests on sound energy, which he handles with the same showy enthusiasm he brings to everything else.
His temperament cuts sharply against the surrounding gravity. Miks cracks jokes, beatboxes between rounds, suggests pizza nights to lift the team's mood, and spends hours recording the sounds KAY/O's components make because the idea amuses him. Vyse complains about the noise. He carries on.
Behind that energy there is real attention to other people. He is the one who alerted Brimstone when Sage started reaching her limits. That side runs right through his kit: Miks is the first controller in the game able to heal, and only the third agent across all roles who can do it, after Sage and Skye.
Miks throws a device that, on landing, sends out sound waves that either concuss or heal players depending on the mode selected.
Miks targets an ally to grant them both a Combat Stim, refreshed on every kill; alternate fire keeps the stim for himself.
Miks marks locations on the map to deploy smokes there at range.
Miks builds up and then unleashes a sound wave forward that knocks back, deafens and slows the players it hits.
The device toggles between concuss and heal, and that choice is made before the throw. In the heat of the moment, a lot of players throw the wrong mode and waste the ability. Get in the habit of switching during the quiet phase according to what the round needs: concuss for the opening, heal for the retake.
The stim benefits both players and refreshes on every kill by either of you. Its value is therefore highest on the duelist who takes the site first, since his frags restart the effect for both of you. Using it on yourself alone stays possible, but it is the weaker of the two uses.
Unlike Brimstone's, which take a short moment to appear, your smokes deploy immediately. That changes what you can do: you can smoke in reaction, at the exact moment an angle opens, rather than preparing everything in advance. It is your main advantage over the other tactical-map controllers.
The ultimate needs a wind-up during which you are still and predictable. Get into position first, under cover, and release the wave the moment your team is ready to move up. The physical knockback it produces exists to dislodge players from a held position, not to get kills.
Miks is the thirtieth agent in Valorant and the seventh controller on the roster, added in March 2026. He fills a gap that had existed since the game launched: every other role already had an agent able to heal, the controller role was the only one without. Miks therefore becomes the third agent in the game able to restore his teammates' health, after Sage and Skye. His kit combines instant-deploy smokes, a shared Combat Stim, a dual-purpose device and a knockback ultimate, which makes him the most support-oriented controller ever added to the game.
Yes. Before he arrived, no agent in the controller role had any healing, while every other role had at least one. His M-pulse device can be switched to heal mode before the throw to restore the health of allies inside its area of effect. That makes Miks the third agent in the game able to heal his teammates, alongside Sage and Skye, and the only one who does it while also handling his team's vision control.
Both agents use a tactical map to mark their locations at range, which makes placement equally simple in either case. The difference is speed: Brimstone's smokes take a short moment to appear after activation, Miks's deploy immediately. That gap looks small but changes how you play, since it lets you smoke in reaction to a situation rather than having to anticipate everything.
His statistical results are underwhelming so far. Recent figures put him around a 47% win rate, which places him at the bottom of the seven controllers in the game. He performs better on defense than on attack, which suggests he gives his best holding a site rather than on an offensive execute. That does not make him unplayable, but a player whose priority is winning games will find sturdier options among the established controllers.
Miks is a Radiant from Croatia whose powers rest on sound energy. His writing highlights an exuberant, warm personality built on humor and beatboxing, which contrasts with the seriousness of the rest of the protocol. That lightness hides genuine attention to his teammates: he is the one who told Brimstone that Sage was reaching her limits. That supporting side translates directly into a kit designed to keep his team in fighting shape.
